Lunae Ritus — Full Moon & New Moon Dressed Beeswax Candle Duo

A ritual candle pairing created for working with the two most powerful points of the lunar cycle: the Full Moon and the New Moon.

The Full Moon candle is made with natural white beeswax and dressed with sage, fennel and moonstone — chosen for clarity, cleansing, gratitude, release and illumination.

The New Moon candle is made with black beeswax and dressed with sage, fennel and obsidian — chosen for intention setting, protection, stillness, grounding and renewal.

Together, they form a beautifully balanced lunar ritual set: one candle for releasing and celebrating under the Full Moon, and one candle for planting intentions and beginning again under the New Moon.

Each candle is hand-rolled from beeswax and wrapped together in our vintage apothecary-style Candela Botanicapackaging.

How to use

For the Full Moon, light the white candle during rituals for gratitude, clarity, release and illumination. Use this time to reflect on what has grown, what has come to light, and what you are ready to let go of.

For the New Moon, light the black candle during intention setting, protection work, stillness and renewal. Use this quieter point in the lunar cycle to plant new intentions, cleanse your energy and prepare for fresh beginnings.

You may use each candle separately with the moon phase, or keep them together as a complete lunar ritual pair.

Handmade beeswax candles

Each candle is hand-rolled in small batches using beeswax, botanicals and natural stones. The honeycomb texture, natural finish and hand-dressed details mean every candle is slightly different.

Your candles may vary a little from the photos, especially in the placement of herbs and crystals. This is part of the handmade nature of the piece.

Candle safety

These are dressed candles and contain botanicals and stones, so they must be burned with extra care.

Always burn on a heatproof surface.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.
Trim or remove any loose botanicals if needed before lighting.
Do not burn right down to the base, especially in a holder, as this may cause heat damage.
Extinguish if the flame becomes too high or the candle burns unevenly.
